Thank you for visiting this website. I'm a human factors engineer and Assistant Professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago in the Department of Biomedical and Health Information Sciences. Teams are integral to business success as well as for safe and reliable health care systems. They are at the heart of my research and innovative solutions to problems inherent to patient care.

The Joint Commission estimates that approximately 70% of adverse events stem from at least one failure in teamwork. Leveraging my specialization in simulation and human factors, I am motivated to solve issues in team interactions with other team members, particularly through use of technology to optimize health care systems. I look forward to working with you to diagnose and enhance your teams.
